23 .When servicing industrial electrical equipment, electrical installations and electrical parts technological equipment it is not allowed to single-handedly open for inspection the doors of switchboards of starting devices, control panels, etc., turn on and off power supplies, external and internal electrical networks. Before connecting electrical equipment to the network, it is necessary to inspect it, make sure that it is in good condition and warn people working on this equipment about the upcoming inclusion.

24 .When working with the use of electrical protective equipment (insulating hoses, tongs, electrical tongs, voltage indicators), it is allowed to approach live parts at a distance determined by the length of the insulating part of these means.

25 .In electrical installations, it is forbidden to work in a bent position if, when straightening, the distance to live parts is less than 0.6 m. When working near unprotected live parts, do not be located behind them or on both sides. When servicing and repairing electrical installations, work from a ladder must be carried out by two workers, one of whom must be at the bottom. 26 .It is forbidden to use metal ladders and work from boxes and other foreign objects.

27 .During rain, fog, snowfall, work requiring the use of protective insulating means is prohibited.

28. Switching on and off current collectors by twisting wires, hanging wires on switching equipment is prohibited. In all cases, use inventory devices designed for this purpose.

29. Hand-held electric machines (electrified tools), portable step-down transformers should be connected through special plug-in connectors with a contact for connecting a grounding conductor.

30. Test the insulation of portable electrical receivers at least once a month, followed by marking the results in a special journal. Check the serviceability of manual electric machines before starting work with them.

31 .For the normal operation of electrical machines, use auxiliary equipment and devices specially designed for this purpose, step-down transformers, converters, protective and disconnecting devices, inventory switchboards, plug connections, automatic switches, etc.

32 .To obtain a reduced voltage, it is forbidden to use autotransformers, choke coils and a rheostat.

33. It is forbidden to turn on transformers and frequency converters without making sure that they are in good condition, as well as to inspect and repair them without removing the voltage.

34 .Switches for portable electrical devices must switch off all phases and be installed on the housings of these devices (except for portable lamps). 35. Installation of switches on portable wires and cables is prohibited.

36 .Temporary overhead power line should be carried out with insulated wires and suspended on reliable supports at a height of at least 2.5 m above the ground, 3.5 m above walkways and 6 m above vehicle passages,

with a suspension height of less than 2.5 m, lamps with a voltage of not more than 12 V should be used. Power lines should be enclosed in pipes or wooden boxes to protect against mechanical damage.

37 .When carrying out work in rooms with increased danger, use portable electric lamps with a voltage of no higher than 42 V, and in especially dangerous conditions (damp areas of the room, metal tanks, etc.) - no higher than 12 V.

38 .As hand-held portable lamps, it is necessary to use electric lamps enclosed in a special dielectric case with a protective grid. If possible, hang the wires of portable lamps, avoiding their contact with metal, hot, wet and oily surfaces or objects.

39 .The electrician must constantly monitor the technical serviceability of the welding transformers used and their reliable grounding.

40 .Do not allow the operation of electrical installations with broken insulation of wires, cables, windings of electrical consumers, switchgear structures, starting and lighting equipment.

41 .The following are subject to mandatory grounding: housings of transformers, electrical machines, devices, lamps, etc. (lamps installed in residential rooms are not subject to grounding); drive of electric devices; secondary windings of measuring transformers; frames of control switchboards, shields and cabinets, metal structures of switchgear, steel pipes of electrical wiring, metal sheaths and armor of control and power cables, metal cases of cable boxes and other "metal structures associated with the installation of electrical equipment; metal cases of mobile and portable electrical receivers, for with the exception of portable electric receivers in residential rooms; cases of electric hand dryers and other electric heaters installed in cubicles and other rooms.

42 .In electrical installations with voltages up to 1000 V with solid earthing of the neutral, the parts to be earthed must have a metallic connection to the neutral of the power supply.

44 .Insulation resistance of electrical networks, switchgears and relay protection devices should be checked at least once every 3 years. The insulation resistance of power and lighting wiring is measured in dry rooms once a year, in especially damp rooms - once every 3 months. Grounding resistance in these rooms is checked at least once every 6 months. The insulation resistance of electric heaters, water heating appliances, as well as all cleaning machines and technological equipment, which is operated by personnel not related to the maintenance and repair of electrical equipment, is checked once every 6 months.

45 .Automatic switches should be tested for operation during short circuits and overloads simultaneously with measurements of the insulation resistance of electrical networks and grounding. Faulty circuit breakers must be replaced immediately.

46 .As a natural grounding conductor, it is allowed to use metal pipelines laid underground, with the exception of pipelines of flammable and explosive liquids, gases, metal structures of buildings and structures, lead and steel cable sheaths. To create grounding centers artificially, use metal electrodes immersed in the ground (corner, pipe, rolled metal, reinforcing steel mesh, etc.).
